Takendi policies
Terms of use
Takendi connects customers with service businesses and provides a booking calendar. The business is responsible for the accuracy of its services, prices, staff and opening hours, and for fulfilling the appointment. A listing collected for research cannot be booked without an ownership claim and verification.
Customers pay no booking fee and do not need to enter card details to book. The business subscription is a B2B relationship, with consent and an invoice.

Privacy, analytics and location
The customer's GPS location is used only for the current “near me” request and is not stored in their profile. For weather, Takendi sends the provider only the municipality's approximate center through the server, not the customer's GPS location or IP address.
With analytics enabled, Takendi stores a structured allowlist for 90 days: the event type and approximate minute, anonymous session, business profile identifier when the event relates to a profile, canonical category/service, general municipality, channel, device class, referrer group and, for searches, confidence class and result count range. It does not store IP addresses, full user agents, GPS, email, phone numbers or search text. Users can disable analytics in their account.
The optional email for appointment notifications is stored separately from your sign-in email, with consent for transactional updates and the option to revoke it in My bookings. It does not grant account access or marketing consent. Account email, booking phone number and history are stored separately solely for sign-in, security, fulfilling bookings and permitted notifications; they are not combined with anonymous marketplace events.
Chat messages are stored with the booking and are visible to the customer through the linked session or account and to the authorized business owner or manager. The conversation can begin before approval and remains accessible after completion or cancellation. Messages do not themselves change the booking time or status and are not published on the profile. For bookings linked to an account, messages are included in the data export; deletion requests are reviewed together with the booking data.
Home-based addresses and the private onboarding address are not published. An entrance submitted by the owner is saved as owner_submitted until an operator verifies it separately.
Inaccuracy reports are stored with an anonymous session, issue type and optional note; they go through human review and do not automatically change the profile or OpenStreetMap.
The professional review must cover Law no. 124/2024, the legal basis, retention, data subject requests, incidents and transfers to foreign providers.

Cancellation, no-show and refund
In the live pilot, cancellation does not charge the customer. Cancellation/no-show fees remain DEMO ledger entries only until a payment provider, explicit consent and an approved policy are in place.
When optional payments are added later, refunds will require an audit trail, idempotency, provider status and a clear deadline.
Subscription and billing
The Free plan includes 40 online bookings created per month, based on Albania time, and up to 3 active staff members. Pending requests and cancellations count; rescheduling and manual appointments do not use the allowance. The Business plan costs 1,000 lekë per month for one location, with no monthly limit on online bookings, up to 20 active staff members and service videos. The personal link has no per-booking fee. Online checkout remains closed; activation requires the operator to verify the subscription. VAT treatment and invoicing are confirmed before payment. There are no automatic charges or renewals.
The accountant must confirm the operating entity, VAT treatment, invoicing cycle and fiscalization in accordance with the Tax Authority procedure. Paysera/BKT and B2B billing remain OFF until after this decision and the operational review.

Open data, sources and corrections
Map data from OpenStreetMap is used under ODbL, with visible attribution “© OpenStreetMap contributors” and a link to the license. Overture Places and other sources retain their own provenance and licenses.
A public record is a research indicator, not a guarantee that the business is active. Owner-verified fields are not overwritten by snapshots; absence from a release creates a review candidate, not an automatic deletion.
Professional review checklist
A lawyer must review the platform terms, the Takendi–business–customer roles, privacy, SMS/WhatsApp consent, open data compliance, consumer rights and e-commerce. An accountant must establish the operator's NIPT, invoicing, VAT and how subscription payments are collected.
The basic references are Law no. 10128/2009 on electronic commerce and Law No. 9902/2008 on consumer protection. The “approved” status is valid only with the actual professional, document versions, review scope, decision date and a stable HTTPS link to the supporting evidence.
